Hervey Bay Dance Club

Welcome

We welcome you to our club, which has functioned since the 1980's with the promotion of social sequence dancing. All officers and members of the committee are voluntary, as well as John & Robyn Waite, who are the dance instructors.

All Monies Received by the club, are to meet expenses incurred, such as hall rent, public liability, CD's and the equipment needed to function in a hall such as the John Paul Centre, Memorial Hall & the Great Hall, Pialba. The club on a number of occasions has donated money to local charitable organisations. During August 2009 the club raised $6,050 for the Hervey Bay Hospital Children's Ward Auxiliary at the Charity Dance and Week-end in the Great Hall where 370 dancers attended.

Learn the Dances are run on Friday nights from 6.30pm. These nights cater for raw Beginners, and those who have danced some time in the past. You can have fun meeting new people whilst you learn the sequences. Dancing is a healthy excersise. Couples, singles welcome. We cannot guarantee a partner for you to dance with, so if you can bring a friend along.
Don't be shy come along and join in the fun.

The aim of Friday night is to provide you with a variety of dances that you can dance of course on that night, and at a later date attend Club dances held Tuesday & Saturday night's as well as other venues in Hervey Bay & surrounding districts.

We invite you to join the club and to participate in other activities during the year. A bar-b-q during August and finishing the year with a Christmas party that is free to members.
To become a member of the Hervey Bay Dance Club Inc. the annual fee is $5.00 per annum.
Looking forward to seeing you each Friday night for learning, and Tuesday & or Saturday nights for the dances.

Dancing is in full force one again, back in Hervey Bay.
Our Tuesday nights held in the John Paul Centre, have a walk thru dance at 6.20pm, dancing at 7pm. Light Supper.
On the 1st Tuesday night of each month we have a social supper dance, ladies please bring a plate to share. Admission to Tuesday nights, $5.00, a raffle is conducted on the social supper dance nights.
The beginners class from last year will attend, our Saturday nights dances soon. They will learn a dance from 6.20pm, with the dance commencing at 7pm.
Free Come and Try Workshops will be held on the 19th,26th March, 9th & 16th April, in the Memorial Hall, Main St Pialba.

Balls: Programmes available now for Bundaberg. Bundaberg Ball promises to be better than ever, so don't miss out, please order your tickets from Shirley as soon as possible. Cost $15.00 pp payable when you order. If you have to cancel due to illness the money if fully re-fundable. Happy Dancing
